Underfoot

Underfoot is a series of works exhibited in a two-person exhibition titled Embedded Notations. Underfoot examines the smaller but substantial world at our feet. Colourful ink washes are overlaid with collage that has a direct consequential relationship to the subject (muscles depicted with oil spills, or mushrooms detailed with air pollutants).
