This series was part of a two-person exhibition where the drawings were juxtaposed against geometric, grid-like, acrylic paintings containing litter from nature (pine needles, dirt). Within this series the collage element takes on a new use; as a tool to achieve colour and texture. The collage is not just an overlay, but is worked into the image.
